IT Project Manager

As an IT Project Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of IT projects across our enterprise business systems. You will manage and define project delivery strategies that ensure our IT solutions are effective, efficient, and aligned with Peabody’s wider organisational objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you’ll be instrumental in driving business transformation through innovative and well-managed technology solutions.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our project processes adhere to compliance requirements and industry best practices, while also ensuring a positive and professional image of Peabody is maintained externally. By gaining a solid understanding of the applications and systems we use, you will be well placed to help the business maximise the value of its technology investments.

You’re a results-driven IT Project Manager with a passion for delivering business-changing solutions. You’ll enjoy working closely with teams across IT Operations, Delivery, Business Engagement, Technical Solutions, and the IT PMO, as well as with external suppliers and internal customers. You will maintain a consolidated plan for all project and development work, and you’ll be responsible for all associated documentation, risk and issue management, and reporting.

 You’ll need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week and the remaining time you’ll be able to work remotely.

Your role includes contributing to ongoing improvements by reviewing project outcomes, sharing knowledge, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and embedded across future projects.

To be successful in this role, you’re:

  • Delivery-focused, collaborative, and customer-centric
  • An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in working with internal technical teams and external technology partners
  • Ideally qualified in one or more recognised project management methodologies such as Agile (Kanban or Scrum), Prince2, PMBoK, MSP or APM
  • Practically experienced in delivering complex IT projects from initiation to completion
  • Familiar with Dynamics 365 and cloud platforms (beneficial)
