End User Computing Field Engineer

As an End User Computing Field Engineer you’ll work closely with the IT Service Desk, 2nd Line, and Infrastructure teams to respond to incidents and service requests. Your responsibilities will include setting up new sites, decommissioning existing sites, performing audits, and contributing to project work. You will also need to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex technical information in a way that is easy to understand.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and configuring IT assets, supporting the launch of new solutions, and ensuring best practices are followed in all operations. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by managing incidents and service requests effectively. A strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking technology is essential, as well as the ability to organise your workload, work independently, and meet deadlines.

This role will be based in the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire areas but is field-based and will require occasional travel to;, London, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Kent.

To be successful, you should have experience with:

  • Printers
  • Windows, iOS, and Android devices
  • Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Admin Environments
  • Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony
  • Maintaining PC/Laptop Hardware
  • MS Intune
  • WiFi technology
  • Citrix
  • A UK driving licence (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (essential)
