Data Quality Analyst

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data across our organisation. You will be responsible for analysing data, identifying weaknesses, and implementing improvements that directly impact decision-making and business performance. This is an exciting opportunity to drive a data-driven culture and enhance data governance.

You’ll be an experienced Data Quality Analyst with a passion for data quality and the skills to tackle complex data challenges. Working closely with Data Quality Leads, business teams, and IT, you’ll analyse root causes of poor data practices, recommend improvements, and implement quality measures. With your expertise, you’ll help shape how data is managed and used, ensuring it aligns with operational priorities. You’ll be required to work from the office two days per week.

You’ll develop and maintain data quality score cards, reports, and dashboards using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Excel, providing clear insights that support business decisions. Your ability to source, clean, and manipulate large data sets will be key to identifying trends and areas for improvement. Strong communication skills will enable you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, promoting best practices in data governance. To be successful in this role, you’re:

  • experienced in data sourcing, analysis and dashboard production using SQL, Power BI, and Excel
  • able to manipulate large data sets and provide actionable insights
  • knowledgeable of business processes and their impact on data quality
  • excellent at problem-solving and with strong analytical skills
  • a strong communicator with stakeholder management abilities
  • knowledgeable of housing association operations and KPIs (desirable)
  • degree qualified (or equivalent) in an area relevant to data quality (desirable)
