The vacancy
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Care, Communities and Corporate Services Finance Team, providing a first-rate business partnering service. This role will involve overseeing key financial processes such as month-end and year-end procedures, ensuring the timely production of accurate accounts, and supporting various finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely financial information is produced on a monthly basis.
Undertake the month-end and year-end processes.
Assist with yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
Facilitate audit queries for relevant directorates.
Provide support for ad hoc queries and guide stakeholders to relevant finance teams.
Collaborate with finance colleagues to improve processes.
Assist with yearly and interim audits.
Support the Management Reporting team in delivering excellent service to stakeholders.
About You: You are a proactive self-starter who works well both independently and in a team. You have a strong desire to implement good practices and improve processes, and you communicate effectively with different audiences. As a detail-oriented individual, you work well under pressure and are adaptable to changing priorities.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience in financial and management accounting.
Experience in the year-end audit process and financial closedown.
Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting software (Sun Systems desirable).
Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance staff.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Why are we collecting your information?
