The vacancy
Are you a problem solver with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Do you have a strong technical background in building surveying and enjoy working collaboratively with others to achieve results? If so, you could be our next Building Surveyor here at Peabody, ensuring that our homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards for our residents.
You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day and major repairs, voids (empty homes), and planned preventative maintenance within your local area. Working closely with colleagues and contractors, you’ll provide expert technical advice and help us deliver a seamless service to our customers.
You'll be hands-on with site inspections, managing contractors, and ensuring that all works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. With your attention to detail and focus on quality, you’ll help us achieve value for money and improve customer satisfaction.
To be a success in this role, you’re:
experienced within building surveying and well versed in building pathology, preferably within a social housing context
degree qualified in Building Surveying or hold a similar technical qualification (HND HNC)
experienced and skilled in managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction
experience in building strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors.

Why are we collecting your information?
